Anonymous Proxies

Here's where life gets interesting. Setting up your web browser to use an anonymous proxy is a simple way to surf the web safley. The website owner no longer know who you are, what county you are in - anything about you (unless you type it in of course)

How it works

Your web browser has some settings in it to allow you to use a Proxy Server. This was initially designed to allow ISPs to save money on bandwidth by having you ask them for pages and images instead of the website directly. They would cache files on their server and give you those, or failing that, go get the file for you and save it in their cache for the next person. You can see where the anonyminity comes in. They are asking for you. Today, anonymous proxy servers have popped up everywhere. Some web sites block them (i.e. stock brokerage sites like eTrade.com), but they offer a perfect way to make that anonymous posting on Fuckedcompany.com !! More:Anonymous Browsers
